...the Athletics, Cubs, Giants, Mariners, Padres, Pirates, Rangers, White Sox, and Yankees (plus one season in Japan).

Gossage is now the most well-traveled HOFer.

Which HOFer did he replace as the top journeyman (most ML teams played for)? Who was he, how many teams, and which ones?

How did/does this other HOFer celebrate his major league resume at Old Timers games?

  1. Gaylord Perry.

  2. Dave Winfield?

6- Padres, Yankees, Angels, Blue Jays, Twins, Indians

  3. Gaylord Perry, who graced the rosters of the Mariners, Royals, Yankees, Braves, Padres, Rangers, Indians, and Giants (eight teams). He had pieces of each team he played for sewed together for a jersey at an Old Timer's game!

  4. I don't know if he still wears it, but Perry would show up at old timers games with a jersey that had the emblems of all the teams he played for.

He's a really nice guy too, I saw him last Feb, and he's lost some weight.
