The P. Rosney-trained black dog, Newinn Rocket, is expected to grab the second straight success of the calendar month when he will run at Monmore racecourse on Thursday night, March 8 for the high-profile Open Race of Ladbrokes Puppy Derby 2012 Semi-Final

The mega contest of 480m Flat distance is scheduled to start at 20:02 (GMT). The total prize money reserved for the event is £200.
The dashing dog will compete against Daddy knowsbest, Sids Champ, Guinness Dusty and King Bradley.
Though each of the above runners poses to be in good form at the moment but, Newinn Rocket undisputedly stands above all in terms of the high-class talent he possesses.
The two-year-old young dog started his career in October 2011 and won first four races in a row during the same month.
He went on to bag another big victory in November. However, the year 2012 proved to be somewhat unlucky for him.
After struggling for at least two months, the son of Ballymac Maeve out of Little Flutter won his last outing on March 1 with a huge margin of 3 lengths, getting a purple patch suddenly.
This fresh triumph seems to have improvised his confidence to a great extent and the talented runner has gained a new energy which will surely help him thrive in tonight’s thriller.
Newinn Rocket’s chances to finish first are more than 90 percent; however, two of his opponents including Daddy Knowsbest and Guinness Dusty are likely to create some hurdles for him.
Daddy knowsbest finished first in three races during January-February 2012. The K. Billingham-trained black dog made his debut in November 2011.
The son of Big Daddy Cool out of Bridie Knowsbest went on to finish third in his last start on March 1. He is expected to de well at Monmore tonight.
On the other hand, Guinness Dusty bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs during the month of January 2012. The blue dog again won a race narrowly on February 25.
Starting his career in October 2011, the trainee of S. Cahill registered three victories during October-November. He too seems to be solid enough.
