Newly poured concrete patio is blotchy and spotty. Is this normal?

My newly poured concrete patio is looking like it is 30 years old, where in fact, its only 3 days old. I know concrete takes awhile to fully cure, but is it normal to have an assortment of discoloration, white spots, and blotchy spots on the whole slab this early in the cure? It has rained on it twice, but a good 24 hours after it was set.

some variations in color is normal.  Give it a month.
