I bought some kitten bathwips are those safe to clean her bottem with, also is it normal for a kittten to have p**p stuck on her bottem? What kind of toys would appeal to her. She will p**p in a litter box but will not pee in it. we have had her for 2 days shes going to the vet tommorow. What should i ask the vet.. Tips over all on caring for kittens would be great!!!! 1. well it sounds like just pretend she is older, all your questions are fine ask the vet normal stuff, litter train her, and give her kitten toys

  2. I was in the same situation. Give your older cat time. And yes it's normal for a kitten to have **** all over his behind.. lol! Soon enough your older cat will be acting like a mom.. or dad.. which ever fits.. lol

  3. That has happened to us too!!!

We have a seven year old black and white cat and rescued a five week old kitten just yesterday off a highway. We took him to the vet and it turned out he had a few parasites and scratches, but was otherwise fairly healthy. Parasites are normal to be find in kittens: sometimes they are just born with them. Also, the kitten had a few fleas so the vet told us to give it a bath using Dawn dish water detergent. This usually kills all the fleas. Start at the head and make your way down to the bottom. Give your kitten another bath a few more times, just to make sure all the fleas are gone so that the fleas don't spread to the other cat.  Do not let the other cat come in contact with the kitten until the kitten has gotten rid of any parasites or other pests. Gradually introduce them, maybe let them sniff each other, but just for a few minutes. Older cats are usually more territorial.

Our new kitten enjoys to play with hair scrunchies, small toy mouses (found at Pets Mart or PetCo, maybe even Wal-Mart), balls with bells in them, and pretty much anything that moves.

It should be normal for a kitten to have a little bit of p**p on its bottom. It might not know how to use the litter box properly yet, since it is so young.

I really hope this helps!!! have fun with your new kitten!!
