Newmarket Flyway favourite for Belle Vue Midi
Newmarket Flyway has been rated as the favourite to win the Belle Vue Midi in England on Thursday, May 10, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will be awarded a cash prize of £150.
Stamina will be the key in today’s race, as the distance to cover is 590 metres. The action at Belle Vue is scheduled to start at 20:55 GMT and following are the entries which have been confirmed: Newmarket Flyway, Third Intention, Killieford Blaze, Jack
Relax, Low Wood Gift and Parkfield Alice.
The bookies have full faith in the abilities of Newmarket Flyway, as he is a quality runner and has been doing a decent job over the past few months. His performances will encourage the bettors to risk the maximum number of bets in his favour.
The R. Gray’s trainee seems to like the longer distance races, as his performances in them have been quite impressive. He has got very good stamina, which will certainly be the key in today’s race.
In his previous three outings, the black dog managed to win once. Importantly, the victory came at Belle Vue in a 590 metres race, which suggests that he will be quite competitive once again.
However, Newmarket Flyway was unable to make a solid impression in his most recent race at Nottingham. He was up against some quality runners, thus failed to match their speed and stamina.
Things will be a lot easier for the favourite hound today, as he appears to be the best contender for the top spot. He is the son of Droopys Scolari out of Newmarket Way and was born in December 2009.
On the other hand, Third Intention might manage to spoil the party for the race favourite, as he has a lot of experience. He is a touch inconsistent, which will discourage the punters from placing bets in his favour.
However, the G. Howson’s trained dog has the tools to match the best in the business and he will definitely give a tough time to his rivals in the race. He is the son of Hondo Black out of Babyshan and was born in May 2009.
It will not be an easy job for the rest of the hounds to fight against Newmarket Flyway for victory at Belle Vue.
