News update: David Beckham not to face Manchester United
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp assured that should http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Beckham-c10432 join Tottenham this week, he would not face former club Manchester United.
This is a latest turn in the Beckham and Tottenham saga, as the English star is busy training with Spurs. Redknapp is currently in talks with LA Galaxy over a possible loan term for the player.
With only a month left before Beckham’s return to USA on February 10th, Tottenham are looking for a short term deal, but the arrangement hit cold waters when LA representatives wanted insurances over the midfielder, should he get another injury.

However, it seems that an agreement has been reached but Redknapp has confirmed that Beckham is not likely to face Manchester United.
"Manchester United this Sunday would be a non-starter even if he does sign. He is not fit to play yet and he knows that. It's going to take him a few weeks to get back to anywhere near the fitness levels he's used to," stated the Tottenham Hotspur.
The manager added that Beckham has fit right into the Spurs squad during the training sessions. He was of the view that the player has invaluable experience, which is going to help everyone around him. Redknapp added that Beckham’s experience would be necessary
when the Spurs head into the make or break of a season. The last six months decide the fate of a club and with Champions league football for Spurs this season, Beckham’s expertise would come in handy.
