Newspaper subscription help?

during a normal day, san jose mercury news called and asked if i wanted a 3 week subscription for free, the next 4 weeks later, they sent me a letter, it says : "thank you for your sunday-friday subscription to the mecury news. your rate from 02/29/2008 through 08/28/2008 is 19.81$" i dont know if they want me to pay for it, or it is for a renewal, i need everyones opinion, even if its useless, thanks:D

Call them and tell them what happened. They will straighten it out.
