The law is known as "Newton's law of universal gravitation." In a nutshell it states that all objects in the universe have gravity, and are capable of being affected by gravity.

It applies everywhere.

It only runs into problems when you apply it to objects moving very fast, or to objects that are very massive, or over extremely large distances (that is because Newton assumed that gravity was instantaneous, regardless of distances).

For these extreme cases, you have to use Einstein "law" of gravity (General Relativity theory).
