Is Apple really coming out with a New Ipod Touch?

How expensive do you think it will be?

I heard that most of apple's major products get released in September and October mostly. I am asking this because I am thinking of getting the Ipod Touch since its $ 279.99 at bestbuy and I really want to go on its wi-fi and jailbreak it.

I have never owned any kind of Ipod before or Mp3 music player since I am not really that interested in the music but its Video and jailbreaking gaming features and more.

Should I get an Ipod Touch now since my budget on this is around $400 limit and the touch fits in. Or should I wait for the next generation Ipod and spend the $400 on that?

i have read articles from professional reviewers and mac enthusiasts from computer-related websites that say most likely apple will take out a new ipod touch this september. I also believe the rumors too because apple has released a new ipod every september for the past 3 years, with the exception being last year when apple released the ipod touch on october. i know you're anxious and probably can't wait to buy an ipod, trust me, i also want a new ipod touch so badly to replace my 5g ipod, but if i were you, I would wait at least 2 months. believe me when i tell you it'll be worth the wait. hope i helped clear your mind from any doubts. =)

get it now...there is no point in waiting.......ur missing out on a lot :) maybe evn get iphone. u can always sell on ebay and get new one

If you dont mind waiting a year or maybe more,you should just wait for the   2 Generation touch.

Also, I wouldnt jailbreak the touch because jailbreaking can cause major errors and the warranty for the touch is instantly void.
