Next Generation Quilt Frame Pfaff

Question

Hi ladies...........I went to the Long Beach Quilt Show in California and I purchased it while I was there. I am so excited. I have a Brother 1500. I spent the day putting it together. I just want to know if I should know anything to start with? I am excited about finding this group to talk to.

I have the next generation frame and I found the DVD and the instruction book easy to follow.  It took me about 2 hours to put it together and get my fabric loaded.  The frame has its limitations as far as the size of the quilt or the quilting designs as my machine has only a 9 inch throat.  However, Golden Threads has a great technique with paper piecing your designs to sew them in halves to create bigger designs.  The laser pointer is also helpful in following pantographs.  I find great value in what I recieved for the money that I spent.

What have you ladies paid for your Next Generation Quilt Frame?? I'm thinking of buying one but looking for a good price.
