Is it ok to give my 14 month old similac go n grow or enfamil next step lipil formula after hes already been drinking whole milk for a few months but I never knew they had that stuff out til now or I would have used it. He doesnt eat very healthy as he is picky so I figured it would be healthier for him to drink the formula instead.

  1. It wouldn't hurt him, but he probably wouldn't benefit from it.

Just continue to offer him lots of healthy choices, even if he has rejected it before. He may well turn his nose at something one day and gobble it up the next.

I wouldn't waste your money...especially if he is still growing and developing normally.

  2. Don't waste your time, that stuff is a waste of money.  It is just another scheme from the formula company trying to make more money.

  3. There is no reason to get him started on the "next-step" stuff. I used formula for the first 12 months and switched to whole milk. No need to waste your money on the "next-step" stuff. It isn't necessary.

At 14 months they are always picky eaters. His eating habits will change.
