  1. The scientists also have a vested interest in keeping us all on edge regarding global warming phenomena.

They receive huge research grants to look in to the possibilities and as such a massive industry has grown up that scaremongers us and also comes out with the most obvious statements possible.

Think about it, "if the world heats up, the ice will melt and the sea levels will rise"!!!!! Genius! Probably took all of three seconds to come up with that but they received a fortune to "research" it.

Whether it happens or not is irrelevant, they get the money now and if it does, they can say "told you so!" if it doesn't happen for hundreds of years, none of us will be there to say they got it wrong!

    Perfect money spinner!

  2. no idea. for every credible scientist that puts forward a theory there seems to be another one who has the opposite opinion

  3. Not all scientists believe the hysteria about Global warming. Weather patterns have come and gone throughout history and there is nothing we can do about it

  4. I think so, I believe some of it is very true but slightly exaggerated.

  5. Who knows? Don't you think it would be more helpful to us all if these blokes researched the subject matter more deeply before sending us all into a vortex of not knowing which way to turn and what to believe.

History has shown that all of this Global warming has happened before and that it is the earths natural process of dealing with certain changes to this wonderful planet of ours.

Next winter could be worst we've seen for generations...who knows? Certainly the scientists don't appear to.

  6. "We have to take into account that there are uncertainties in our model; but it does suggest a plateauing of temperatures, and then a continued rise," said Dr Keenlyside.

It is trying to predict the future, so many variables can happen - nobody knows for sure yet. There is not enough data.

If the scientists are not sure, then governments cannot be either.

It sounds like they are all "hoofing" it on so called global warming. No I cannot take it too seriously until the theories are proven.

  7. Some times it is exegrated but by looking at the earths atmosphere we need to think seriously about stoping any damage it.
