  1. I'm hoping for Orpik and Kaleta. With that done, they can lose Peters, and frankly, Miller is gonna do what Miller si gonna do. And his situation is nothing like Campbell's I'll say it till I turn blue. Campbell was offered similar to hsi previous contract...which he earned, he didn't perform half as well this season, and it was ridiculous for him to think he could play hardball with lower numbers. I don't care what stats gets thrown out there, fact of the matter is, teams win when they score, and he didn't do it. I think he was being offered a completely reasonable contract. He didn't do much for San Jose once he got there buit if they offer a similar rate is anyone going to be shocked or talk **** about it?

That rant aside, I don't think its a big deal Kalinin wasn't resigned, and I agree, Hecht's paycheck better be reflective of what he's going to do this year.

The rotating captaincy isn't an issue for me.

  2. brooks orpik = huge bum

no they should fire Darcy, the idiot who allowed Zubrus, Briere, Drury, Dumont to all walk for nothing.

Somehow try to dish off Vanek to the leafs (they are the only team stupid enough to take him and his stupid *** contract)

Somehow get Miller over to the Red Wings :)

Stop that stupid rotating Captain thingy (never has worked never will)

I would like to see them also get rid of the flying slug i mean donald trumphs hair i mean sabre logo, but that will never happen

they are going to need to start rebuilding until then they are going downhill

    Hi Connor!

  3. Get Gaborik!

  4. what should they do?

    1.  resign Ryan Miller to a long term contract

    2.  sign a solid defenseman, cause Marc-Andre Gragnani ain't gonna cut it right now.

    3.  find a backup for miller, 'cause Thibault's 99% out the door

    4.  sign their restricted free agents

    5.  hope the 3.8 million dollars they pay Jochen Hecht is going to make him emerge as the leader on the team.

    6. stop that rotating captain thing.

6a - Get rid of Connolly and Afinogenov to free up some bucks

    7- make the playoffs

    8. FIX THE LOGO

    what will they do?

    1.  sign a backup goalie for next to nothing

    2.  make a move for a "character" defenseman; that is, not necessarily someone they need, just a body, like last year's Nolan Pratt.

    3.  roll the dice with what they've got

3a. end up trading Ryan Miller like they did Brian Campbell because they will either 1- not offer him a contract, -or- 2- ridiculously lowball him because they don't want to fork over the dough similar to Jay McKee, Mike Grier, Daniel Briere, Dainus Zubrus, J-P Dumont or Chris Drury

    4.  claim that they simply can't afford to go out and sign players, because as Golisano said before - "We're going to run this team like a business".

    5. finish 10th in the east

i might be a little harsh here, but i'd be shocked to see if they made a major move into free agency between July 1 and the season opener.

    Good luck.
