Next step please?

I feel like I ask this alot, but now I have alot more info.

So I been to tons and tons of acting classes.

I feel I'm ready to get out there, I went to an audition for Disney.

I felt like it was a scam because they wanted to go to CA and pay for it. My dad said no because at the time we didn't have the money. He got fired and was only working part time and looking for another job

Now my dad said nows a good time to go to CA because he got an awesome job that pays really well.

I have a resume [which doesn't have much, but people need to start some where right] I have headshots, I can act [very well] I can dance but I can't sing [ my voice sucks haha] I feel like i'm ready, this is my dream and every one keeps telling me i'm good and everything but chances of me acting are slim. and the only way to make it in the acting buisness is to have connections.

I REALLY don't believe that, but I have to no what to do next?

I how do I get jobs, where do I find auditions? help me please?

  1. Here's a tip. I've auditioned for an agency like what you're talking about...dont. Luckily, I'd done my homework and backed out when they asked for cash out-front. Try to keep acting and build up your resume where you are, maybe get an agent where you live (if there are any nearby). If you're really serious about acting professionally, the recommended MINIMAL time you should spend in LA when launching your career is 4 years. Feel up to it? Think again. There are a million and one people thinking the same thing you are, so be absolutely sure you're ready before you make any big plans. For future reference, don't say "I can act really well." Unless you can prove it, you're just digging your own grave. Good luck.

  2. NEVER trust a modeling/acting agency that requires you to pay!

This is not a real scouting agency. Best luck is going to Hollywood and hooking up with a legitimate agent that can scout auditions for you.

  3. start with classes at school then do plays at shcool build up your resume get experience! then get an agent and if you want to be succesful it will take years of hard work slowly climbing the ladder of success but if you get a chance to do somethign big go for it!

for agents and all the info you need go to actinginfo.blogspot.com and talentagents.blogspot.com for the agent one click table of contents then click city nearest you. read everything on the site

answers wont pop up infront of you so look around and click on the words in blue but not the ones that are double underlined!
