Nextbase Model No.: SDV77-BD portable DVD player...

Question

HI i have the above model portable DVD player and all of a sudden it won't turn on, the player wasn't dropped or knocked in anyway prior to it not working and i have checked the battery pack which is fully charged and tried plugging it directly into the socket. The AV switch at the back is in the correct position. I have had the player since December 2006. Any suggestions?
