Neyland Stadium at UT: Is it pronounced Nay-land or Nee-land?

Alot of us that live here call it Nee-land not Nay-land. What's the proper way to say it and how do you know?

I'm an LSU fan from Baton Rouge and I've always been under the impression that it was Nee-land.

I've lived in Tennessee my whole life and NEVER heard it pronounced Nay-land.
