Neymar urges Ganso to stay at Santos till 2014
Brazilian international and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Neymar-c27639 has gone on to reveal that he has asked his teammate, Ganso to stick around at Santos until 2014.
The striker went on to sign a deal with the Brazilian club last month and in doing so, he went on to brush aside any and all rumours regarding a potential move out of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858, in the near future.
However, the forward believes his teammate should do the same and commit his future to the club, in order to kill off all the speculations linking him with a move away from the team.
Neymar has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, but it now seems like the player won’t be going anywhere, until after the 2014 world cup.
Ganso himself has been linked with a move to a number of teams, including the likes of AC Milan and this seems to be affecting the player’s performances on the pitch.
However, Neymar feels that the only way to end all of this and for the player to focus on his game, is if he goes on and commits himself to the club.
Neymar, when talking about himself and what Ganso should do, is quoted to have said: "I do not know his career plan in detail"
"It looks tempting. If he is at Santos, it is because he likes it here.
"If he stays here, it will be a good thing."
Ganso was offered a contract extension at the Brazilian club, but the player has so far asked the team to wait until the end of the Club World Cup, in order for him to decide what he wants to do with his future.
Over the course of the last couple of seasons, Ganso has been turning heads with his performances on the pitch for both club and country. As a result, it was only natural for the big European teams to come in and try to sign the player.
However, given the fact that the player still needs to refine his skills a little further, it might be the smarter thing for him to stick around at Santos, instead of moving out of the club just yet.
