Neymar wants a move to Chelsea
Brazil and Santos striker Neymar has revealed that he wants to secure a move to Chelsea in the near future.
Neymar was the focus of many transfer rumours during the summer transfer window. However, he says that Chelsea is the only club he wants to play for over the rest of his career.
"A player with a winning mentality like I have has to play in the best places like Chelsea. Chelsea have some fantastic
players like Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard and I would love to play with them," he said.
Neymar is a very skilful player that would add a lot to the Chelsea attack. There is plenty of time for the Premier League champions to work on a deal that would go through this
January.
A quality player
Neymar is a quality player that can play any position in the attack of a team. He is comfortable in possession, which means he can drop off from the top of a team and into the
midfield.
His pace allows him to play as a single striker, which would be valuable if Drogba and Nicolas Anelka picked up bad injuries. This pace will also allow him to play slightly wider
in the Chelsea team.
Chelsea has a lot of time and space to work on a deal for the January transfer window. It's difficult for any club to ignore comments from a player that have issued a come and
get me plea. It will be impossible for Santos to keep the player once Chelsea makes initial contact.
"I don't know where I would fit in because that would be up to the coach. But I can
play however they want me to. I'm confident in any position. I'm preparing to move. I will be in a better state of mind and ready for it next time," he added.
