Tien Minh has become a top shuttler in the world as he is among the top-ten players in the Men’s Singles world rankings. World Number Seven, Tien Minh, who is also the top seed in the Men’s Singles category of the Vietnam Open, delivered a phenomenal performance
against the Taipei shuttler. The top seed won the battle in straight sets by working for only 30 minutes. He won the encounter with the score of 21-12 and 21-15.
The first game of this Men’s Singles match started in an interesting style as both players remained toe-to-toe in the first-half and at the end of the opening half the Vietnamese was ahead at 11-8.
After the break, Tien Minh accelerated his speed and controlled the pace of the rallies to make his opponent move around in the court to pick the perfectly placed smashes. The top seed in the event won the first game in just 13 minutes without facing any
hurdle at any stage with a margin of 21-12.
The second game of the battle was thrilling in the start where the Taipei shuttler played wonderful badminton. However, the experienced Tien Minh changed his tactics to get an upper hand in the match. He continued putting more and more speed and power in
his strokes. Until the interval, the top seed was just two points ahead of the Taipei shuttler by reaching at 11-9.
The following part of the second game was quite interesting when Lin Chia lifted up his level of play and came near to his opponent at 12-14. However, Tien Minh became aggressive at this stage and spared no chance for the Taipei player to come back in the
match. The top seed finished off the second game with the score of 21-15.
