My boyfriend and I want to go to Niagara Falls for a couple of days. Does anyone have any suggestions on a cheap hotel or where I can find some kind of package deal?

  1. You have to go to the Canadian side,  don't go to the US side, there is nothing there, but the Canadian side is a blast,  go up Lundy's Lane and it is buzzing with people and things to do and see.  There are so many hotels to choose from.  don't know your price range,  but look for ones close to Lundy's Lane so you can walk everywhere.  There is a Marriot that is really nice and good walking distance to everything,  and even a few cheaper motels on the strip.  Go on Google maps or Yahoo or tripadvisor to find a hotel on the strip but in whatever price range you want.   Have fun!!!!

  2. I live right beside Niagara on the Canadian side so i can definately give you a few good word's of wisdom. It's a major tourist trap. Hotel's and restaurant's are expspenive. Anything near the Falls is big money. If you are on a budget look into staying at the Blackstone Inn located 2 minutes from Clifton Hill. Nice place, cheap and very clean. And a 2 minute walk to Clifton Hill. If you want to see all the attraction's, buy the Great Gorge Adventure Pass. Save's you money if you pay to see each attraction sepparately. It cover's the Maid of the Mist, White Water Walk, Butterfly Conservatory,Journey Behind The Falls, The People Mover(A shuttle you can use all day to see all the sites) A discount for the Spanish Aerocar and unlimited useage of the Falls Incline Railway located near the new Casino. If you want free thing's to do, check out the Floral Clock, Niagara Glen, Daredevil Museum (located in the Imax Theatre), Dufferin Island.  1000's of bird's there!! Bring bird feed!!! Don't miss out eating at the Flying Saucer Diner located on Lundy's Lane. Great food and very cheap. Highly reccommended!! Mic and And Angelo's is really good too. As far as your question goes, stay at the Blackstone Inn

. I'm good friend's with the owner. Been going there for year's. Staff are nice too and you won't find a cheaper Hotel that is so close to the Falls. Owner's name is Mike. Tell him "Aaron sent you.

  3. try this http://www.niagarafallskiosk.com/

there is a whole range of motels to be in, all depends what you want to do...walk alot, if you can drive to places, if u have a car, then u can get a nice motel out on Lundy's Lane and drive to places within the city, to eat...

dont listen to people here, sure there are some tourist traps, but over all the pricing is very reasonalbe

email me if u want specifics

  4. During my last trip I came across a website called http://www.cheaphotel-s.com . It has quite a large variety of hotels. You might wanna give it a try.

  5. Get a bed and breakfast in Niagara on the Lake on the Canadian side. Angel of the Lake is a good one(http://www.angelofthelake.com/profile/in...

This is a great, romantic, and cheap alternative to getting an inner-city hotel. Most places actually in Niagara falls are either really expensive or really tacky. Remember that Niagara falls is kinda like a mini vegas in most places.

If you ARE looking for cheap and tacky however, try the Pilgrim's Inn on Clifton Hill. Its an absolute riot. http://www.niagaramotelguide.com/motels/...
