My sister and I are staying a couple of days at the Falls, and then want to spend the rest of our trip in Toronto. I'm not going to rent a car, so I was wondering what the cheapest and best way to Toronto is from Niagara. I've already searched and found transport from Toronto to the Falls, but nothing the other way.

  1. take the bus

it is cheaper than the train

too bad there is no megabus in Canada

  2. If you can cross from the Falls to Buffalo, you may be able to catch Greyhound or Megabus for $1.

  3. greyhound bus

  4. There are cheap tours from the Travel Agency in Chinatown (in the big mall between Dundas and Spadina), and it cost 35 dollars; but they give you a card for play in the casino with 30 dollars; so, if you change the card for cash, the travel will cost only five dollars. The problem is that you should to return on the same day to Toronto.

  5. the bus

  6. Via Rail has several trains a day from Niagara Falls to Toronto. If you buy your tickets in advance, the supersaver fare is $21 each, takes about two hours. Greyhound has several buses a day, also takes two hours, with the lowest advance fare $22.35. Both may have cheaper fares if you're both students. I'd take the train.

The train and bus stations are across the street from each other near the Whirlpool bridge.

  7. Depending on how long you want to stay- renting a car might be more efficient. They have some great deals going on right now - so just shop and compare. have fun! My hubby and I are headed to Niagara & Toronto later this month. Im excited!

  8. try viarail.ca or the greyhound bus
