Niagara Falls where does the water go?

I have have heard, that no one can explain where the water in Niagara Falls goes. Is this true? Where does all that water go?

To Lake Ontario!

It goes into the  St. Lawrence river and into the Atlantic

From the falls it goes into lake Ontraio and then into the St. Lawrence river then out to the atlantic
