  1. Of course, Niagara Falls closes one day a year...Christmas. that is it.  Seeing as the 4th isn't a Canadian holiday the Canadian side would be open anyways.

There is also niagara on the lake, not too far down the road.  Great things to do there, great shopping, fort george is a great place to stop for a few hours.  There's winerie tours and wine tastings etc etc.

  2. Of course it is, both on the New York side where the 4th is a holiday and on the Ontario side where the holiday was yesterday.

I mean, it's not like they're going to turn the river off.

  3. Niagara Falls is a city, it will never close. Not even Christmas the border is open to cross to the canadain side you can view the falls for as long as you like the state park is always open on the US side and even some shops and attractions are still open on Christmas all 3 casinos on both sides never close. Nothing stops you from coming into the city ever and the falls and festival of lights is even illuminated still on Christmas. All attractions and even added events should be happening on the Fourth including an amzing Fireworks display at 10pm.

  4. July 4th is irrelevant in Canada, so this Friday is just a regular Friday in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
