  1. Yes there are couple of good guys mississauga taxi drivers who offer good rates to go to Niagara falls.

Its a good idea to take a cab to Niagara falls and dont make the cab wait while you stay there.

The usual flat fare is somewhere about 200 $ and carry 4 passengers. But theres some who give a real good deal.

If you arrange the trip a day in advance they give rates like 170 $ to pick you up in mississauga and drop you of right at Niagara falls.

If you are lucky you can really just pay $ 150 to the Mississauga taxi driver if he agrees and is friendly.

I really prefer a taxi to go to Niagara falls.

I take my family at least once in 6 months to Niagara falls and stay over.

Last week a mississauga taxi driver Sunny drove us from our home  in mississauga to Niagara falls for $ 150. I was lucky. He is a nice guy.

it took us about 1 hour and little more to reach there.

his phone number should be 647-588-4818 ask him for a deal for dropping you to niagara falls.

sunny is one of a good mississauga taxi driver i ever met.

He also helped us load and unload the luggage we carried with us.

Sunny was very polite and gentle..

    Thank guys

    John.

  2. Taking a taxi for such a long trip seems to be a very expensive choice that I wouldn't recommend doing.  Using the approximate charges listed on the Toronto Taxi website of $2.75 initial charge + $1.00 per KM + $0.40 per minute, a one way trip from Mississauga to Niagara Falls could cost as much as $145.  In comparison:

Greyhound Bus would charge $21.10 per adult ($20.65 if you buy one day in advance and $3 more on weekends) and $13.75 per student from Mississauga to Niagara Falls one way leaving daily at 7:35 AM.

Via Rail would charge $36.75 per adult from Toronto to Niagara Falls one way leaving daily at 8:30 AM.

Even renting a full sized car or SUV from Mississauga (as shown on the WWTE linked from the VIA Rail website) would cost between $60 to $63 per day plus taxes.

  3. I hope this does not come off as unhelpful, but a taxi by any means would not be advisable for such a long route. You are best to use a bus service or even a touring service (and if only needed refuse the return service) it will be cheaper. However if you do need a cab regardless of cost, Toronto Taxi is excellent

    Best Regards
