  1. It looks pretty cool.

I saw it in a Woody Woodpecker cartoon once.

  2. yes

  3. I've been there, it's pretty amazing. I also took to ship tour through the waterfall, which was a simply stunning experience.

Still, this was kind of long ago... I can't say I remember much aside from the cool smell, odd calm, lit up Toronto at night, and a longing to stay there forever.

  4. the falls themselves are really a one day kinda trip, but because its such a huge tourist spot there is lots of other touristy stuff to do if your into that kinda stuff.

all in all i would recommend it if you want a vacation that is not boring but not to fast paced.

Great for honeymoons, quiet vacations, getaways, or for the kinda person that likes "tourist things" such as museums and fancy hotels

  5. a huge waterfall, you could spend a good hour looking at it, although there are alot of casinos and hotels in the surrounding area, its not in the middle of a big park or anything, i was disapointed when i found that out.

  6. I have!  It is as they say, breathtaking.  If I'm ever in a relationship again I'm taking my woman there.  It's almost surreal, and very peaceful.

  7. It is beautiful, The Falls are spectacular. If you are palnning to go there the best time is June.

  8. the falls look amazing.I recomend staying at the Great Wolf Lodge because it has the bus transportation right there that will take you to the butterfly exibit and the maid of the mist and the journey behind the falls and back.heres the website. www.greatwolflodge.com  . its almost worth going just for the hotel.they have a giant indoor and outdoor waterpark. check it out its the best place to stay.you also get a one day bus service pack if you order it. you get to take the bus and you get tickets to the places you want to go in one pack.and if something gets messed up like the US/Canada money conversion they will upgrade your room for free!!! that happened to us. the falls are totally worth seeing at night especially when they are lit up!! trueley amazing site to see at least once in your life!

  9. Its magnificent;  the Canadian side is better view, cleaner &safer, better tourist amenities. If u go from late May to early  Spt, dont miss the "Maid of the Mist" Its a boat that actualy goes under the American Falls. They give u a rain slicker and ear plugs. Its very safe and an amazing thing to do that u cant find something this unique many other places. Also visit the Falls Musuem in Niagara Falls Ontario-they have the actual barrells that dardvils used in the 1800's to run the falls, along w/other neat stuff. Kids love this place.

  10. Definitely worth the visit.

And say hello to Nikola Tesla when you run into his statue.

  11. Yes I have been there a couple of times.  There are like 2 major falls, one being the huge horseshoe falls, the second is the American falls.  The horseshoe falls is partly on the Canadian and partly on the American side.

While over there, do not miss the "maid of the mist" boat tour that takes you very near the base of the horseshoe falls.  Its a great way to feel the power of the falls.  If you carry your US passport, you can cross over to the Canadian side and view some attractions such as the view of falls from the towers.

Also they turn on the lights at the fall during the evenings.  You get a great view from the Canadian side.

  12. One of the wonders of the world. Clean, lots for tourists. I am relatively local, and never seem to tire of looking at the Falls and enjoying the area.

  13. It's magnificent, especially from the Canadian side. The roar of the water coming over the falls is tremendous and gives you an idea of the power behind it. It's particularly beautiful to visit in the fall.

  14. it was a BIG WATERFALL.  I went. I looked. I left.

  15. I live 10 minutes away from Niagara Falls on the american side so i go there all the time. Its just a lot of loud rushing water. Its beautiful and exciting the first couple of times you see it, but after going there so much it gets boring.
