Niagra falls is it better on us side or canada side?

with my husband and I and our 7 yr old son and 6 month old daughter?

Canada side, for sure. The view is much better, its cleaner, and on the Canadian side there are all sorts of restaraunts, shops, hotels, museums etc. Also, nearby is the town of "Niagra on the Lake" it is my favorite part of going to the falls.....its an old victorian town with more fun shops, restaraunts etc.

Canada Side -- you actually see the water coming down (this is from a 14 year old perspective because that's how old I was when I went 2 years ago)

More things to do on Canada side -- shops, shopping, etc

If you go, definitely visit the Canadian side or else you'll be missing out on the spectacular views of Horseshoe Falls.

i think you should go to Niagara falls in Canada. the view is much prettier and larger on that side. by larger i mean you can see much more of the waterfall and also at night, the lights shine on our side and the view is great. the colour changes and on the US side a building/apartment/restaurant that has colourful lights at night and from our side that building/apartment/restaurant looks pretty.
