Nice, economical, place to stay near Parris Island, SC?

Question

We are going up for a friends graduation from Marine Boot Camp on the Wednesday before and staying 2 or 3 nights. Does anyone have a recommendation on a hotel to stay at near there? I heard that Parris Island isn't very nice but to stay near by.

The super 8 in port royal is a nice, resonably priced hotel...  The only thing I've ever found on Parris island is the military installation.  Usually people stay in the surrounding area of port roaly or beaufort or some of the other small towns...

i jsut stayed there for my fiances graduation in feb. It was nice I stayed the night on the airbase and it was really nice. It's only about 15mins away from parris island. It was only 65 dollars a night. The graduation is really nice you will likeit

The best thing for you to do is reserve ahead of time, and if you have military ID or AAA or even work at walmart, there's tons of discounts you should look into I found a link for you of some good cheap hotels. Hope you find what your looking for.
