Nice New Jersey Towns???

Question

I'm opening a new business in Elizabeth, New Jersey near the Court house/ hospital (Rahway Train Station). I wanted to find a nice, affordable condo in a safe area not too far away. Anyone know any cities near Elizabeth I can live comfortably in? Thanks.

I'm very familiar with Elizabeth, having lived in the area my whole life.  There are some great places to live close by.

Cranford is just a few minutes away, and it's a great little town.  It has a cute little downtown area with restaurants and a movie theater with a train station that gets you into New York in a half hour.

Millburn or Westfiel are also great.  Similar to Cranford but a bit more expensive.

Maplewood, Roselle Park, Clark, Scotch Plains, Fanwood, and Woodbridge would also be quite safe and are close to Elizabeth.

Rahway or Perth Amboy would be more affordable, but in those towns it depends on which neighborhood you are in as to whether it is safe.

You might want to consider Staten Island or Jersey City also.
