Nice Treaty?

Question

What do people think of the above mentioned treaty that allows free travel in the European Union which means that people from all over Europe can come to your country and live there without permission from the government. Personally I hate it as I live in Ireland and there is 200,000 Polish people alone as well as other immigrants. What do you think?

It doesn't really bother me, I mean, think of when there was the Great Famine, and thousands of Irish came to America, it probably was exactly the same.

I don't really mind the polish- they are fueling the construction sector and as you know that is a massive part of the economy.

I do have a problem with the fact that there is a disproportionate amount of (mainly eastern European) people who drive dangerously.

they are also forming gangs and robbing and bringing drugs into the country.

I believe the government should be able to pick who and how many come to Ireland
