Nice affordable steak house in UK london?

i am hungry for a juicy steak with yummy gravy and roasted potatoes this weekend...does anyone know any affordable place to go to for a decent yummy meal in the london area of UK??

Try the Harvester. You can also be amused because they will say, "Have you ever been to a Harvester before?" Guaranteed.

There is the Angus steakhouse, which is extremely popular and their steaks a divine. For a more cheaper option there is Garfunkel's which also has steaks, but at a cheaper price, but still as tasty.

If you want affordable, try the Beefeaters Pub/Restaurants, you can get a Biggish steak with fries, jacket potato,salad, or veg. for about approx.£9.00. if you go before 6pm for a meal, you can have a starter and a main meal, or main meal and sweet, for about £8.00 person. You can add, of course, side orders, ie mushrooms, onions rings etc. In my experience, the steak was always cooked nicely, enjoyable and tender. Try it you'll like it. Atmosphere is quite nice too. The chain Chez Gerard does great steaks - they don't do them with roast spuds and gravy though, they normally come with chips.

Yep ok decent food affordable drink www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk they are a chain but one I use without ever worrying about quality or ambience

outback steakhouse?? there must be one of them in london. I dont rate it a lot though. TGIs do steaks but the best steak ive ever had was at macaroni grill - it was huge, they served it with a WHOLE broccoli and garlic mash. Delish

Steak with gravy? That's weird. Gravy and roast potatoes go with roast beef, not steak. Steak is best served with chips and English mustard.

I think most of the Wetherspoons pubs do quite a decent steak, and roast beef with gravy. But whatever you do, avoid the Angus Steakhouses that seem to infest the West End. They're really horrible.
