Nice and good restaurant for birthday dinner.?

Question

I'm wondering where to bring my childhood/best friend for her 21st birthday dinner.

It would just be a quiet and perosnal celebration with a few of the closest friends as the party will be held on another day.

Budget not really a problem and preferably a halal-certified outlet. If it's not, it's fine though.

Where are you?  That might help.  

Just for all round good food at low prices I like IHop.  We have a really good one near our house and we eat there frequently.

Go to Lambert's it's a great party restaurant...everything there is around $10 but they give you as many refills as you want...they also throw rolls at you, it's almost like an adult version of Chucky Cheeses

You should go to AppleBees after 7 PM - They have half off appetizers!

Or you could go to Olive Garden.  Their food is AMAZING!

One of my favourites places to hang out for a quiet dinner with my friends is Da Paolo in Jalan Merah Saga (that's behind the carpark across from the Delifrance in Holland Village).

The seafood spagetti (Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare) is too die for and they do a mean risotto.I also love the ambiance - it's a little quiet, the deco's tasteful and the staff attentive.

Apple-bees is always a good choice for a small gathering.Good atmosphere ,always a friendly staff,good food, good prices(most importantly the maple blond brownie,yummm!)They also have a great drink selection!

Swensen's.  Nice family resturant.  Great ice creams.  Birthday guy/girl gets a free ice cream upon confirmation of birthday. (Bring IC).
