I am looking to move to NJ, but my husband works in NYC. What would be the best area to rent in that is affordable but still a nice neighborhood? I have a 5 year old starting kindergarten, so the schools have to be good too. Thanks!!

  1. Anything in NJ that is on the commuter line to NY city is going to be expensive, so what is your price rang?

  2. Look in Old Bridge, Sayreville, South Amboy and South River. I grew up in Old Bridge and my Dad commuted to work in NYC via NJ Transit until his retirement. Pretty good and safe community, nice schools.
