Nice area in Mackay QLD???

I may be moving with my young family to Mackay (QLD, Australian).

Where is a good area in or around there to live?

Hello, I live in Beaconsfield,Mackay and have been here for nearly 15 years.

The best suburbs are Glenella(flooding problems though), Rural View, Black's Beach and Bucasia as they are more upmarket.

Ok suburbs are andergrove, beaconsfield, North, South, East and west mackay.

The lesser popular suburbs are anywhere right in town, Slade Point(crime),  Baker's Creek(near smelly meatworks).
