Nice place for lunch in London?

Question

Im thinking of asking this girl i like out. I was thinking of lunch in Central London, perhaps around covent garden (doesn't need to eb here hust some where nice and central). Im only 17 so wouldn't want to pay much more than £20 per person. Any ideas?

Impress her with your knowledge of a cool new place to eat in Covent Garden called Wahaca. The food is excellent and very good value

There is an Austrian cafe near the Smithfields meat market I found by accident, which is incredibly charming and not expensive, but have an early lunch or it will be full (it's quite small). It's called Kipferl, after the pastry. http://www.kipferl.co.uk/ is the page for it, with instructions how to get there:

The nearest tube station is Barbican.

Or there's the Hummus Brothers, who have several restaurants now. They serve mostly hummus with different food in the centre of a ring of hummus. It's extremely nice food and very cheap and I love it.

Try a Northern Indian ,Iranian or Lebanese restaurant.Your girl will be impressed and you will not burn a hole in your pocket.

Make her lunch and take her to the park for a picnic thing.  It's cheaper and it will mean more to her that you took the time to do it.  Plus, you'll probably have a great time, too.

It has been my experience that the best place to eat in England is at a  Pub.

If you have nice weather and a Pub that has ouside seating take her there.

I'd take her to Borough market on a friday or saturday (check opening times online) and have fun with the free samples of delicious food and then buy some hot food from a stall and go sit in the sun with everyone else.
