Nice place to eat in heathrow area?

Im going out to eat with my girlfriend, but i am stuck for somewhere to go? i live 5 mins from heathrow (feltham)

TRY TAKING her into the airport terminal, you have a few restaurants there.

Take her to either the Harvester Steak House or the Toby Carvery at Langley. It's close enough to be easy but far enough to be "different". She'll love you to bits.

Leave the M4 at junction 5, take the A4 into Slough/Langley direction.

About 500 yards along you'll see the Toby Carvery on your right. They don't take bookings but if you turn up before 7pm you'll have no trouble finding a table (Mon-Thurs, it gets a bit busy Fri and weekend). Big bellyfull of decent food (beef, turkey, ham or any mix) for about £8-9 each.

If you don't want a carvery then keep going  straight across the traffic lights another 200 yards and the Harvester is on your left. This is a steak house restaurant which has a good ambiance and decent food. It's not all steak on the menu. Cost is a bit more than the Toby (could be £10-15 per head depends on what you eat) and you are advised to book. Check the website for details.

If you're driving Limit your drinking to non-alchoholic or a 1/2 pint of shandy. It will spoil your evening Big Time if the police book you for drinking and driving. The risk isn't worth it.
