I'm thinking of moving to England, but I need to know (obviously) where I'm going to live. Any suggestions? It is to be relatively affordable, close to the larger cities, and I need to know as soon as possible! Thank you!

  1. SOUTHAMPTON, WHOOP WHOOP!!! lol

  2. If you would consider Scotland, Glasgow has a great music scene, and isn't too expensive.

  3. Brighton, UK's g*y Capital is a fantastic place, (for all sexual leanings) good nightlife, live music, close to London and major travel routes to the rest of the UK and Europe.

  4. Leeds has a kick-*** music scene. My cousin goes to university there, and I LOVED hanging with her and checking out all the awesome music venues. It's a super fun town for young ppl & musicians.

If you're willing to go a little farther north you might really like Edinburgh. They have a cool music scene going on, and you'd be near Glasgow which has the AWESOME music festival.

Derby is really pretty, but it's kinda industrial. There is a music festival there.....

There's a boho community along the Cornish coast & there are musicians there, but it's more like middle aged.....

If you're young I'd check out Leeds.

    Best of luck....
