  1. The Cactus Lounge near the playhouse is nice mexican food, and not too expensive.  They do a reasonable lunchtime deal as well.

  2. macdonalds

  3. For the best food, even though its a bit noisy to eat in, go to Room on Boar Lane - excellent menu and changes fairly often. Otherwise try Salvos Salumeria (on a Thursday or Friday night only) in Headingley or Dough in West Park - both need booking a few days in advance but are very pleasing (Dough is BYO and therefore nicely priced). Oh, and ignore that one about Calientes - it's like a throwback to the curry house adverts shown before the film in 1970s British cinemas!

  4. The Living Room, good food but not cheap and it is where the people who like to be seen are seen.

If your lucky you might meet some celebs and get invited to the VIP room.

  5. kebab shop  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Any on Greek Street - you might have to book a table though and arrange a bank loan...

  7. Get on a train to Bradford... wander up behind the Alhambra Theatre. There on Morley street you will see the Kashmir Restaurant, selling the best curry in England! The meat vindaloo is to die for...

  8. Akbars is a fantastic indian restaurant.

Bibi's is nice italian but expensive.

Flying pizza is nice but looks a bit dated.

Casa Mia's in Chapel allterton is lovely.

Salvo's in headingly is another good italian based restaurant.

  9. I lived and worked in Leeds headingley for years, the best place I found for mexican was Calientes, the small red resturant on the high street. For Thai you can do a lot worse than Thai edge.

  10. Get on the M62, go wes Et voila Manchester
