Nice restaurant in Surrey- Not expensive?

Question

I'd like to know if anyone has any info or recommendations as to a nice eatery in Surrey. I don't want a hugely expensive place. Quite reasonable in fact, but still maintaining a bit of class or style?

I like querky places to, so anything like that would be good!

Mae Ping in Epsom, it is opposite the station, is Thai food. I went there last night for a party and it was great, and the food was fab especially considering there were 20 of us!

Aroma in Ewell Village, is a small family run Italian which I have heard is VERY nice.

White Castle in West Ewell is also said to be a very pleasant Indian restaurant.

It depends which part of Surrey you want really!

The Hogs Back Hotel is meant to be pleasant, this is off the A3 on the way to Aldershot, Farnham etc.

If not, Nandos always guarantees a good night out, there is one in Epsom, near the train station, Sutton, near the station again and Kingston by the river. I live in the Epsom/Kingston area so I can't really think of anywhere else at the moment!

Where abouts in Surrey?

Theres are good chinese in West Byfleet called Cho Chin Chow.

You could also try Raj Cuisine in New Haw

La Barbe (French style) in Reigate is fantastic, i think it is better than a Michelin * restaurant that i ate in recently.  The price is very reasonable.  it can be found in Bell street, Reigate

The Dining Room in Hersham if it's still there. English food, small and intimate, very reasonsble prices.

Try Harts boatyard by the thames in Surbiton. Just been relaunched and menu is very good (so allow plenty of time to choose)- need to book at the weekend though as it is very popular.
