Question:

Nice restaurants in Mayfair/Knightsbridge for a light lunch?

Every month me and a couple of friends go shopping in London for a day, and we're always looking for new places to have a light lunch, in the Knightsbridge/Mayfair area, because we're a bit bored of YoSushi now and want to try something different? Any ideas greatly appreciated, with the street name it's on!

Much obliged.

P.s. doesn't matter if it's slightly expensive, just that they do nice food.

  1. How about the Boxwood Cafe, which is owned by Gordon Ramsay

Before you book, check TopTable as sometimes you can get cheap dining deals for it

Signor Sassi is also a good suggestion

  2. If you fancy Japanese, but have had enough of sushi, how about Wagamama?

There's one not far from the Mayfair area. Pretty much just behind Selfridges, as it goes.

I used to work near there, and we'd call in for lunch every couple of months or so. Delicious food, and very reasonaby priced for Central London.

    Here are the deatils:

101A Wigmore Street, W1U 1QR (near Marble Arch)

    Hope this helps!

  3. Signor Sassi, on, Knightsbridge Green (that's the name of the road.) Perfect Italian cuisine. Stop eating raw fish - boring indeed! We have been eating at the Signor Sassi, for, 24 years. Just phone and reserve. Ask for Donato.

  4. Nico at 90, not cheap but you will love it. Its in Park Lane, Mayfair.
