Nice romantic evening in corpus christi

Question

my husband has been off in California for training. He comes back this weekend!! I would like to have a romantic evening out in corpus christi.

He likes going to the movies, eat steak and ribs, no pasta, he liked the lexington and loves the beach.

Mostly what I am having trouble figuring out is a nice, yet reasonably priced hotel we could stay at for a night or two. I would like something romantic, like a honeymoon, since we never got to have one. With the champagne and strawberries and stuff. and it would have to be for next weekend, as he will be to tired to do something this weekend that he comes back.

There are lots of hotels on Ocean Dr, overlooking the Gulf.  Search hotels.com for options.  You can call up several places and see what they have.

Sorry I can't have a specific place.  Corpus is my hometown :)

There is a Holiday Inn, Omni, and Ramada that are right on Ocean Blvd.  Try http://www.hotwire.com or other discount website for cheap rates.  

Go eat at KATZ 21, it's an amazing steak house!!!
