Nice romantic restaurants in downtown Halifax?

I will be taking my partner there in December and want to treat her to a very posh and romantic dinner.

What could you reccommend? Cost isn't really an issue, although I'm not the richest guy around!

If cost isn't an issue, try "The Press Gang". It's a classy restaurant that employs certified chefs (rather than underpaid line cooks) and they have a very extensive wine list.

I can't remember the address, but I do know that it's near the Citadel, downtown.
