Nice train stations in the United States?

I would like to travel the south western United States by train, preferably a nice train. Where can I find an online way to book a train trip?

Go to Amtrak (NOT "Amtrack") at www.amtrak.com. You'll probably want to take either the Southwest Chief or the Sunset Limited, both of which travel the Southwest. The Chief's route runs from Chicago to LA, going through Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. The Sunset Limited, meanwhile goes from Orlando to LA, going through Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.

The above info is not accurate. The Sunset Limited now runs only from New Orleans to LA. The Southwest Chief info is accurate. Another option is the Texas Eagle that runs from Chicago to San Antonio and connects with the westbound Sunset Limited
