I am looking for some nice programs to help me really edit and trick out my vids. All my vids are captured in AVI format, and Windows Movie Maker doesn't support that format, soooo yeah, what are some nice FREE programs that you guys recommend?

  1. Avidemux is for editing

    Jah-shaka for special effects

  2. Videokrong is the best

  3. You could get Sony Vegas 8 for free as a 30-day trial from the Sony website.

Then, Adobe After Effects for some good special effects.

Just throwing out ideas, as I use both and I think they work well.

Also, if I were you, I would look at tutorials for some programs people are listing to see whats easiest or not.

    Hope I helped..
