  1. general tso's chicken, orange chicken, and of course pork fried rice, crab ragoon's, its all good,

  2. Start off with something simple like Shrimp Fried Rice or Vegetable Lo Mein.

  3. Salutations,

If you like to show off a little first pick the meat. pork, chicken, beef, or shimp. then order Moo shu and that meat. a plate will come to you loaded with finly chopped vegetables and the meat you chose, in a great sauce. along side will be a small plate of pancakes these will probably have to be carefully unrolled put a pancake flat on your plate and load it up with the stuff on the other plate. not to much, then roll up the pancake around the filling, and dip in the Hoisin sauce provided. it is wonderful good and you'll look like a pro. Cheers

  4. I like

Ma-po-douhu 麻婆豆腐 (tofu with menched beef cf, hot)

    Geenpapper and onion with beef.

Hunan beef(a little and hot with veg)

    Kan-pao chickin (pretty hot)

Eight-treasure(eight kinds of veg and beef )

    dumplings 餃子

    spring roll 春巻

fried rice(炒飯) ( I guess you can pick seafood or beef)

    Those are tasty.  Good lucke

  5. First off, you need to be comfortable, at ease, relaxed. There is always a first-time for everything. How do you think I - an Oriental blue jean-sneaker dude - felt at a luncheon in a 6-star Swiss restaurant ranked Top 5 resort in the world? (Even the waiters are better dressed than me.)

Chinese cuisine ranges wide with a good variety. A typical meal for a single person may consist of a bowl/plate of rice (boil white rice) to go with a few other dishes - a couple of meat/seafood, stir-fry vegetables with or without meat, a soup and dessert (optional).

Traditional favorites include: a Fried Rice dish (either egg, or Yong Chow Fried Rice - bits of bbq pork, ham, green peas, eggs etc); if you order Fried Rice, you won't need white rice.

What makes Yongchow Fried Rice distinct from Cantonese fried rice is that the individual grains of rice are cooked in the egg, and soy sauce, oyster sauce or other seasonings are not added. Cooked ham and/or roast pork makes the dish very tasty.

Appetizers: Won ton Soup, Spring Roll (any variety), Crab Rangoon.

Meat: Fried Sliced Beef with any greens

Prawn (shrimp) with broccolli / any greens

    Sweet & Sour Fish Fillet

Diced Chicken with Cashew Nuts (don't eat the dark red dried chillies) - this dish is also called "Kung Bao" Chicken

In reality, you are quite safe when ordering dish items a la carte as all the dished are normally categorised: meat/ seafood/ soups / rice / noodles... etc. Avoid ordering any item indicated as "whole" (example "whole fried chicken" as it indicates an entire chicken; too much for 1 diner). I would also avoid any curry dish as they are not a traditional Chinese dish). For first-timers, refrain also from spicy dishes but you could try if you think you can handle the heat.

Above all, relax and enjoy the meal - DO NOT BE SHY to ask for fork & spoon if chopsticks not your thing. Have a good meal!

  6. general taser's chicken

  7. It's probably the least god for you, but that's probably why I like it!..

    Sweet + sour pork

    Egg fried rice

You might also like prawn crackers if you've never tried them before,

    They're like big chunky crisps!

    (: x

  8. chicken foo yung + curry sauce! mmmmmmm.

  9. beef or chicken in black bean sauce, with egg fried rice.

  10. Spring rolls or salad rolls and fried rice are always good.

  11. Mmmm, try aromatic crispy duck in pancakes with spring onions and cucumber and plum sauce, or Yuk sung is good too, followed by beef in black bean sauce with egg fried rice, or Kung Po chicken.....I'm sure you will find somehting to your taste!
