Nicest Resturant in San Franisco where u can eat and look at the view from a high tower?

Can anyone think of a restuarant where u can eat and view the outside from a high tower and the price is not so expensive?

There are several view restaurants in SF but most of them have only mediorce food.  The best of these is the Top of the Mark.  Best view though is the Carnielian Room atop 555 California. Go there for a drink but be warned, men must wear suit coats to be admitted.

The rotating restaurant that briannas mentioned is no longer open.  Just as well, the food was awful!

Anyplace with a great view from a high tower will be expensive. Cityscape/ top of the Hilton, Carnelian Room, etc. Beach Chalet has a great view of the ocean from the second floor dining room and is not too expensive.

Top of the St Francis Hotel is nice, plus you get to ride in glass elevators. It's at Geary and Powell, on the cable car line.

I am not positive but i believe it's called Top Of The Mark, very expensive but awsome view... not to mention top notch food. U could try going on-line to look it up, and make sure thats the name, pretty sure it is, and omg, sounds like what u r lookin' for.

Depending what you want to spend you can go to either called the hyett or hilton.  It is right outside the embarkedero bart station.  There is a revolving resterant on the roof.  You may want to call they can get busy but you cant beat the view

there is this restarant in SF that is amazing. you sit at the very top and it slowly turns so you have a beautiful view of the bay. its so pretty, but i forgot the name :(

The Cheesecake Factory is on top of the Macy's building. It's a pretty nice view and it's pretty cheap compared to other super fancy restaurants.
