Nicklas Bendtner wants to discuss his future at Arsenal with Arsene Wenger
Danish international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 squad.
The striker has grown frustrated with his lack of first-team action over the course of recent months and is now demanding some answers.
Bendtner is not very happy with being just a member of the squad, who comes in off the bench every now and then to make occasional appearances for the team. At the same time, the striker is also starting to grow frustrated with the fact that he has often
been asked to play out of position and feels that it is causing him to not fulfil his true potential with the team.
As a result, the striker wishes to know just what the manager has in plan regarding his future, so that he can re-think his position at the Emirates.
When talking about the dilemma that the striker seems to have caught himself in, he is quoted to have said:"I need to have a talk with him [Wenger] because I'm not satisfied with playing on the right wing, which I've done more or less all season long"
"I'm concentrating on getting our Champions League place and then we'll do the evaluation at the end of the season. It's certainly not the best thing for me but it's not up to me and sometimes you have to adapt to what the manager says."
At the moment, there are a number of teams that have been reported to show an interest in landing the player. However, with Wenger not yet putting the player up in the transfer market, all of those potential suitors are going to have to wait their turn.
Nonetheless, the self proclaimed ‘best player in the world’ seems to have a good idea of just where he would like to end up, should he be allowed to make a switch to another club. "If it's a free choice, I choose Barcelona. I've never had any idols in the
football world but if I had a dream player to play with then it would be Xavi and [Andres] Iniesta."
It seems like Bendtner, if anything is up to his old tricks. The striker has spent far too much time away from the limelight and is looking to find a way to get back in it. However, the forward is more than likely to be on his way out of the Emirates at
the end of the season, considering the fact that Wenger is currently planning a major overhaul at the club. Hence, Bendtner might just be able to fulfil his lifelong dream to play for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 – should they want to sign him in the first place.
