No. It's just an attempt to have a dig at Rockstardom and celebrity. Even if it did glamourise drugs surely you are intelligent enough to have your own opinions and values and act accordingly?

No. The whole song is basically making fun of the american pop culture. The stereo-type of being a rockstar and wanting to be popular, consists of doing drugs and hanging out with tramps and basially being overindulgent. They're basically just amking fun of the "hollywood" lifestyle. Though they do have a couple Racy songs, i don't think they condone drug use what so ever.

But apparently everyone references "rockstar" and as others have said it's a satire look at the lifestyle from someone at the top...

hmmm but really it's just highlighting what we hear in the news all the time about celebrities getting up to no good and going into rehab etc! surely celebrities who do the drugs glamorise it more by having a flashy lifestyle and seemingly getting away with more than the average joe would!!

Do you mean his song 'Rockstar'. If so it does a bit but i don't think anyone is stupid enough to hear that song and instantly feel the need to take some drugs. I see your point, but it is a very good song I would not like to knock it.

I'm not up on it but if you were talking about Rockstar one, then I think that is actually taking the p**s out of Hollwoodesque lifestyle.

As for Radios playing inappropriate music, I get really angry when I hear a song entirely about how to **** a woman etc in the most graphic way. So apply that to drugs.

what amuses me is that you can sing about drug dealers and eating disorders but cant say a s s on the radio! it gets edited out "i'm dress my bleep in the latest fashion".
