Nickname for a friend?

I have this friend his name is Derick... and he needs a nickname.. His girlfriend calls him D-baby. But it doesn't sound good coming from anyone else.. Someone suggested D-rock. But I'm not sure.. Any suggestions.. Just as long as it isn't rick we will be okay.

Look closer at what he is like, in looks, actions personality etc. I have a brother James and he is a Police Officer & we all call him Deputy Dipshit.
