Nicknames for Claire???

Question

I'm not pregnant (yet! TTC so hopefully soon!) I have the name Claire picked out for a little girl and have been thinking about nicknames for the name. I know it's a short name and usually doesn't have a nickname. Are you a Claire, or do you have or know one? Do you have a nickname for her? Even if you don't, do you have any ideas?

The middle name I have picked out is Julianna. You can suggest middle name if you want but they have to start with a J. My names starts with a C and my husband's with a J and we want our daughters to have the initials CJ.

Claire is usually a nickname for Clara or Clarice, so it's kinda hard to find nicknames but I tried!

Middle names:

Claire Josephine

Claire Jayna [I like Clara Jane better, though]

Claire is a name that is so short it doesn't have a nickname. Therefore you can use anything you want and it doesn't have to start with C either.

Clarabel...nicknames can be lengthened too!...Juliana is a WONDERFUL middle name., Why not CEEJ if you want to incoporate her midle name into her nickname, of C.J.  there are many options but you might want to wait until she grows into a nickname which is right for her, I know the very popular girl from my school was B.J. and Beej....Clare (Claire) Juliana (Julianna) is a wonderful name.

how about u call her 'C or CC. theres not much nicknames u can do with the name claire. i like the middle name julianna. other suggestions are jessica, jillian, jewl, jane, jennifer.

Yep, its pretty short so a nickname isn't needed. But like you said, CJ is cute, or Cee, or Ceecee!

I wouldn't do a nickname for Claire since it's already a short name. It isn't very girly, but since you are naming her Claire Julianna you could call her CJ.

CJ is a cool nickname for her.  I love the name you've chosen.

Or you could nickname her Re, Lare or Cleo.
