my name is cassandra and i get called cassie-bear, cassie, cass cass, cassieandra, sandy, cass, so its up to you and personal prefecrence of the child. i always hated cassandra and was only called that wen i was in trouble from my mum. cassie has always stuck with me, even work collegues call me cassie or cass and not cassandra. i noe alot of people think that the names a little long or old fashioned so its a great name for nick names. my given birth name is cassie...my boyfriend calls me CASS my sister , who LOVES making nicknames that dont make sense, calls me lary and it has stuck...[:( ] my middle name is joe so sometimes is cassie jo and sometime they combine my 1st middle and last and call me CABOJO...dumb really but it may have helped...or not
